10 Bollywood movie posters copied from Hollywood

It is not a secret anymore that many of Bollywood projects have been inspired by Hollywood and many other movie industries. Even after being called out for plagiarism, they never stop. A lot of times creators of the original content have questioned big names in Bollywood for not giving them credits, asking for permission or even paying to use creator’s work as their own. fans seems to miss some of these, and here is the list of Bollywood posters that are blatantly copied.

1 – Lords of Dogtown – Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara

Lords of Dogtown and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara posters have so much in similar that people find it hard to call it just inspiration. It is definitely plagiarism. The public got to know about this long after the movie’s release when some started pointing out the resemblance.

2 – The Replacement – Rowdy Rathore

The level of similarity in these two posters is so much that neither the type of pistol is change nor the position of the male and female actors. The makers still gave no credit or take permission from the original content’s creators.

3 – An Education – Anjaana Anjaani

At least the makers, or should I say copy cats of Bollywood, changed the positions of the female and male lead this time. The hand positions, the way they look upwards, actor’s dresses and even the ground that they are lying on. Everything is exactly the same. Why not bring something original ?

4 – king Arthur – Hisss

The amount of effort and creativity is so much that Bollywood actually used a real person instead of the sword. Must appreciate for the hard work. It was very easy for people to point out the similarity mostly because of the colours used.

5 – My Big Fat Greek Wedding – Hulchul

Hard to find differences apart from the people in the poster.

6 – Batman Begins – RaOne

Placement of tittle- same
Body language- Same
Background- Same
When is Bollywood going to become original ?
